What is the iUSC?
The iSchool Undergraduate Student Council (iUSC) is a student-led organization at UT Austin that fosters community, inclusion, and support for undergraduate iSchool students. It works to enhance the student experience by advocating for resources, organizing initiatives, and ensuring equitable access to opportunities within the iSchool.
Whend does iUSC take new members?
We take new members year around, we prefer students who are related to the iSchool in some compacity
How can I join the Council?
Applications will be sent out to join the Council, on a need basis. So if theres opening for certain positions, then we will send out applications. Keep watch of the Informatics Majors canvas and our instagram for announcements.
What are the benefits of joining iUSC?
Some of the benefits include Professional development opportunties like company tours, speaker events, resume and linkedin reviews. We also throw fun events throughout the school year with food and much more.
